Type of terrace

Last week, I received an invition to present a topic in "How to construct a terrace in Malaysia plantation". This is an interesting topic and I have been sufting in the net to get more information of this topic. Unfortunately, no much information I can gain from net.
Basically, I divide this topic into 2 section.
  1. Problem faced by plantation management
  2. Solution of the problem
Before that, we need to understand what is the purpose of terrace. Above there are some photos show the types of terrace around the world. Can you identity the mistake from the photo?
